This 120 minute module explores the use of props in chair yoga and how they can support and enhance your students’ experience. You will learn what props are, why we use them, and how to choose and use them in a way that is practical, safe and intentional.
We look at a wide range of everyday and traditional props, along with how they can be used to support alignment, build awareness and make postures more accessible. There is also a focus on key considerations when working with props, including safety, comfort and avoiding over-reliance.
By the end of this module, you will feel more confident using props in a thoughtful and adaptable way, allowing you to better support the individual needs of your students.
